The new engine is used in all areas, including static image renderings and walkthroughs.

There is no warning about these text changes when you upgrade projects. Recommendation: Do not upgrade projects close to deadlines that require printing so that you have time to review these text changes in your project. The size of fonts in all text items will change when upgrading models. Because of the changes to the way text is measured, all text in Revit will change size to some degree. Recommendation: Review all drawings and views after upgrading. Upgrading with missing fonts causes issues with text note size calculations.

Recommendation: Perform the upgrade performed with all used fonts installed. In superscript-only text notes, the text is cropped. Recommendation: Do not apply superscript to all text in a note. Lists with a very deep hierarchy can push text outside the text note limits. Text displays, but does not behave as expected. Recommendation: Double-check all notes with deep hierarchies for correct text display. Certain fonts used in the text editor may substitute characters from a different font even if they exist in the original font definition.

There is some unknown issue with communication between the font and the text component. Recommendation: Verify each font prior to use.
